Walter Russell Mead muses on the "green jobs" scam over at his blog. He notes both the Evergreen Solar bankruptcy and the Seattle weatherization story. Mead states the obvious but often denied truth,
"Those who tout green jobs as the engine of America’s economic growth miss a fundamental point: there’s no substantive difference between green manufacturing and any other type."
