Aspirational Conservatism: Earned Success
One of the cornerstones of Aspirational Conservatism is the concept of earned success. I credit Arthur Brooks of the American Enterprise Institute for introducing me to the idea that earned success--nothing more than success earned through hard work--is the key to happiness. Not money, though earned success can bring you that, too. And capitalism is the only system that produces opportunity for earned success on a mass scale.
