Thursday morning, I had the privilege of presenting the electricity
chapter of the Center of the American Experiment’s new Minnesota Policy
Blueprint.
We were hosted by the River
Heights Chamber of Commerce and in the capacity crowd, elected officials,
candidates, policy wonks, and utility managers were well represented.
Just a couple of days before our launch, I was pleased to
see columnist Joel Kotkin echoing many of the themes from our report in a
recent piece written for the Orange County Register. Green energy
policies are increasing the costs of energy and the working classes are the
hardest hit.
We’re hoping to start a conversation about energy policy in Minnesota , which has seen the price of energy go from
among to most affordable in America
to among the least.
