Follow The Money: Tides Foundation

Hate to get all Glenn Beck-ey on you, but, yes, the San Francisco-based Tides Foundation also gives money to Minnesota non-profits in the energy and environment space.  This Google doc lists a few from recent years.

More interesting, but off the topic of energy, the Tides Foundation in 2010 gave $25,000 to the Alliance for a Better Minnesota Education Fund and $40,000 to WIN Minnesota.  You may recall that those two organizations played prominent roles in electing our current governor.

Back in 2005, the Tides Foundation gave $2,181,800 to Minnesota Public Radio.
