In part 2 of this series, I documented several of the grants given by the Kendeda Fund during the years 2007 through 2009.
One of the frequent recipients of Kendeda's generosity is Van Jones. For those who may have forgotten, Mr. Jones was the former Obama Green Jobs Czar, who left office after his past ties to 911 "truthers" were revealed.
Before he went to Washington, among his many efforts, Mr. Jones founded two non-profit groups: the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights and Green for All. He also served as a board member of the Apollo Alliance.
All three of these Van Jones groups received funding from the Kendeda Fund. Kendeda also funded Minnesota Public Radio and RE-AMP during this same period.
Here is my question: is us unreasonable to assume that Kendeda expected all of the grants to work toward the same goal?
